Job Description

Our partner is a rehabilitation and care retirement home in Motril, Granada. With almost 10 years of experience, they are specialized in taking care of elderly people also with some special needs. They have a residence 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, and a day and night center. They have special services for patients with Alzheimer's, stroke and advanced diseases.

Tasks

To assist in:

- Perform neuropsychological assessment, emotional diagnosis and behavioral problems of the patient and to prepare the corresponding report.
- Set therapeutic goals and evaluate the individual and group stimulation, in collaboration with other Technical staff.
- Follow up on the intervention.
- Establish behavioral and emotional intervention strategies with the patient.
- To keep the documentation related to the evolution of the disease.
- Provide training and information to the families of users within the subjects of their competence.
- To carry out the psychological evaluation and treatment of pathologies related to the primary caregiver with respect to the with the user and their environment.
- Schedule intervention activities with the family.
- Organizing and leading self-help and family therapy groups.
- To design, collaborate and participate in research studies that are deemed appropriate.
- Conduct psychosocial reports on users and those who required by the center's management, as well as providing information on their own and external resources and to carry out an assessment of your personal and family situation.
- To promote the integration and participation of users in the life of the center and its surroundings. As well as the participation of the family members in the scheduled activities.
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of programs of adaptation of the people using the center.
- To coordinate the workgroups and animation activities socio-cultural.
- Participate and collaborate in the multidisciplinary team in the development of the guidance or care needed by the users.
- Assign and change rooms and dining tables.
- Supporting subordinate positions, when the needs of the center so require.

- Psychologies studies
- Minimum 3 months
- Spanish at least B2
