We are in search of a competent, dedicated, and compassionate Education / Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to our teachers and help foster an engaging and impactful learning environment for our students. Based in the beautiful island of Fuerteventura, you will form part of a diverse team in one of our esteemed schools which deliver comprehensive and high-quality education.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the teacher in preparing lesson materials, supervising students in the classroom, playground, and on field trips. Moreover, you will be expected to provide individual assistance to students, facilitate group activities, grade assignments under the teacher's supervision, and help maintain classroom discipline and decorum.

Job Requirements

Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma plus at least two years of experience in an educational setting. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Education is highly desirable. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a must. Familiarity with the Spanish national curriculum and special education experience will be seen as advantageous. Candidates will be expected to pass a thorough background check.

You should be patient, caring, with an understanding of the emotional and developmental challenges children may face.
