Job Description
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team of teachers, assisting in the development and delivery of engaging lesson plans. Aside from supporting students with their learning across all curriculum areas, the assistant will also help in conducting classroom management and day-to-day operational activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the arrangement of educational equipment, help in planning educational trips, and after-school activities.
Moreover, the teaching assistant will engage with students individually or in small groups for reinforcement and independent practice. The role also relies on maintaining an environment conducive to curiosity, exploration, and inquiry.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
Fluency in both Spanish and English.
Experience in an educational setting preferable.
A solid understanding of classroom operations and teaching methods.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Personal Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.
Highly motivated and has a genuine interest in teaching and developing learners.
Patient, understanding nature paired with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Creative and innovative mindset for curriculum design and teaching methodologies.
