Paid Sales and Marketing Internship in Barcelona

Job Description

Our partner is the organiser of an annual, international trade fair which will take place again in June 2023 in Barcelona. They are an ambitious and dynamic company with a young and informal team, growing fast and continuing to work on innovative event concepts. They have offices in Barcelona and Breda (The Netherlands).

They are looking for a creative, hands-on candidate to do an internship for 5-6 months in their company and to be involved, as part of their team, in sales, marcom and event management.

As a sales and marketing intern your responsibilities will involve attracting exhibitors, working with trade press and attracting visitors during a specific campaign, as well as exhibition management and event management- all starting this autumn 2022!

This is a pleasant internship, to further develop your skills and know-how in doing business and on how to run and organise an international project. It is important that the right candidate has commercial- and communication skills and entrepreneurial attitude to become involved in a successful organisation of the event.

They require

-Driving licence

-Ability to speak Spanish, Catalan and English.

-Initiative and creativity!

-Be familiar with social media and customer care.

-An affinity with marketing and commercial activities.

- Hands on, smart and intelligent attitude.

-Enthusiastic, independent and a structural worker,

-Flexible, responsible and ability to work within a team

Further activities on the job include supporting the Exhibition Manager with very diverse tasks on sales, marketing & communications and operations activities including full responsibility for small and bigger projects in these fields making the event title successful.

During this pleasant working period, the candidate will learn and experience a lot concerning the organisation, marketing and sales processes of an (international) trade event.

-EUR 350 per month remuneration.
