Marketing and communications internship in a non-profit organization in Barcelona

Job Description

Our collaborator is a  is a community of more than 13,000 members that promotes mutual help and the involvement of people in social action in their immediate environment.

They empower vulnerable groups (refugees, immigrants, elderly, etc.) by meeting their basic needs and fostering social action.

 

Tasks

They are looking for an intern to support the communications department, in charge of collecting information and audiovisual material on everything that happens in the foundation with the aim of creating communications that make all the work that is done known.

• Support the Communications Manager in the implementation and monitoring of the annual communication plan.
• Preparation and weekly publication of content on social networks based on the content decided by the Editorial Committee.
• Writing and sending of mailings and newlsetter, ensuring that the specific objectives of each mailing are met (attendance, opening, campaign action...).
• Creation of quality audiovisual content, ensuring that all programs/itineraries have quality material to be disseminated internally and externally.
• Updating web content and following up on calendar activities.
• Preparation of monthly monitoring reports (metrics).
• Support in the elaboration of the Annual Reports.
• Management of corporate mail.
• Support in the relationship with the media.

Requirements

• Communication and writing skills.
• Proficiency in social networks.
• Fluency in Spanish and Catalan (native speaker)
• Able to provide a training agreement from your university.
• Proactive.
• Responsibile.
• Teamwork, and ability to work independently and in a coordinated manner.

Desirable skills:

• Technical knowledge of photography and video.
• Basic knowledge of editing.
• Previous experience with vulnerable groups (volunteering, studies, work).
