Job Description
The English Teaching Assistant will support the fulfillment of the school's mission and strategic initiatives, working under the guidance of the main English Teacher. Your duties will span across teaching, administrative support, and student support in a vibrant and holistic learning environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the main English Teacher in the delivery of lessons.
- Prepare lesson materials, classroom aids and homework assignments.
- Participate in the grading and evaluation of student work.
- Provide administrative support in scheduling and tracking student's progress.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, TESOL, Education or a related field.
- Previous experience as a teacher or teaching assistant would be advantageous.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written; proficiency in Spanish would be considered as a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable and able to work in a multicultural environment.
