Job Description
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our lead teachers to facilitate language learning for students. Your tasks will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of lesson materials and activities for classes.
- Participating in classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises during lessons.
- Leading small group sessions to reinforce language concepts and provide personalized assistance.
- Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Encouraging extracurricular language practice through conversation clubs or cultural events.
Personal and Job Requirements
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese or another language is a plus.
- Ateaching certification or pursuing a degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred but not mandatory.
