Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a lead teacher to create a positive educational atmosphere that fosters students' language skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting study groups for students needing extra assistance
  • Assisting in grading assignments and providing feedback to students
  • Step in as a substitute teacher when required
  • Helping to manage classroom behavior

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in English, education, linguistics, or related fields
  • Have previous experience in teaching, ideally as a teaching assistant
  • Possess excellent command over the English language and strong communication skills
  • Be patient, approachable, and have a passion for teaching
  • Be legally permitted to work in Portugal
