Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of lesson plans, adapting materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and a respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Tutor individual students or small groups in various subjects, providing additional support where needed.
- Prepare educational materials and resources, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible for teachers and students.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as grading assignments and maintaining student records.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance and resources.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese, and proficiency in English is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, exhibiting flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
