Job Description

As an Education / Teaching Assistant, you will support the teaching staff in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
• Supporting students with their academic tasks, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers regarding student behavior and performance.
• Facilitating group work and individualized support for students with special needs.
• Supervising students during breaks and extracurricular activities to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborating with educators and parents to address student needs and promote educational goals.
• Maintaining classroom organization, cleanliness, and helping with administrative tasks.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience in education or youth work is preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and best teaching practices.
• Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English is an asset.
