Job Description

The chosen candidate will work alongside a classroom teacher, offering their expertise in organizing learning activities, implementing personalized learning plans, and providing close support to individual students. Correcting homework, preparing learning materials, and helping to manage student behavior are additional responsibilities of the teaching assistant. The role also extends to assisting special needs students, ensuring all learners are given equal opportunities to succeed.

Job Requirements

  • A degree in education or a relevant field is required; any higher level or additional qualifications would be a big plus.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferable, but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
  • Ability to assist in designing engaging lesson plans and learning activities.
  • Strong understanding of child development and contemporary education methods.
