Industrial Engineering Internship Opportunity

A highly reputed multinational company, globally recognized for its innovative production and technological advancements, is currently seeking an industrious, passionate and, motivated intern for their Industrial Engineering department based out in the vibrant city of Valetta, Malta.

Job Responsibilities

You will work closely with our experienced Industrial Engineers and get a first-hand experience in designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems for managing industrial production processes. Some main tasks include:

• Analyze and engineer production processes for improvements
• Consult with clients on process improvement strategies
• Design control systems for production planning and cost analysis
• Inventory management and quality assurance
• Develop work standards and workflow charts and diagrams for the staff to follow

Job Requirements

We are seeking someone who is in their final year of undergraduate studies or at postgraduate level, majoring in Industrial Engineering or any related field. Further requirements include:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability in the use of CAD and other simulation tools
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a self-starter with good organizational capabilities
