Job Description

As an English Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in the preparation of lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Facilitating small group discussions and activities to enhance student engagement.
• Providing one-on-one support to students in need of additional help.
• Conducting conversation practice sessions to improve students' speaking and listening skills.
• Assessing student progress and providing feedback to instructors.
• Organizing language-related extracurricular activities and cultural immersion events.
• Supporting classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A native or near-native English speaker with a strong command of the language.
• A degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching and learning.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a foreign language is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of Italian is beneficial, but not required.
