TITLE: Teaching Assistant English (Parma, Italy)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An established language school in Parma, Italy, has a passionate commitment to both language teaching and cultural enrichment. We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our experienced teaching team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our teachers in delivering creative, stimulating lessons to students from diverse age groups and different language ability levels.

DUTIES:

• To assist the English Teaching staff in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
• To provide students with additional support or clarification if needed.
• To help in the creation of teaching materials and aids.
• To monitor and document student progression.
• To engage in cultural exchange activities with students.
• To maintain a tidy, conducive teaching environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, English, or a related field.
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring English is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
• Basic knowledge of Italian is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility, motivation, and a keen interest in language and cultural exchange.
