Our language school, nestled in the heart of vibrant Naples, Italy, is expanding the educational team and searching for a dedicated English Teaching Assistant. We are a leading institution offering a broad range of language courses to students from elementary to advanced level.
Job Description
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will support our main teachers creating a lively, challenging and effective learning environment. Your duties include:
- Assisting the main language teacher with lesson planning and classroom management.
- Providing individualized tutoring to students struggling to grasp English language concepts.
- Keeping track of students’ progress, participation and attendance.
- Evaluating students' work and providing them with regular feedback.
- Preparing instructional materials and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Participating in school activities and events.
Job Requirements
Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field. A TEFL, TESOL or CELTA qualification is highlypreferred. Candidates should have at least one year of teaching experience and an understanding of teaching methodologies and classroom management.
Personal Requirements
As well as professional qualifications, we are searching for a candidate who is passionate about teaching and have excellent command over English language. The candidate should be patient, supportive, innovative and should possesses excellent communication skills. A basic understanding of Italian would be advantageous.
