Job Description and Responsibilities

As an Education / Teaching Assistant, you will support the delivery of a wide array of curricular programs under the supervision of our dedicated teaching staff. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting teachers in planning and implementing lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
• Providing individual or group assistance to students who require additional support understanding the material.
• Assisting in creating a constructive learning environment, monitoring student behavior, and promoting positive interaction.
• Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials, classroom organization and setting up equipment for practical lessons.
• Monitoring student progress, keeping relevant records and updating teachers on developments.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in an educational environment.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
• A strong commitment to child care and welfare, along with knowledge of child protection procedures.
• Creativity in designing educational activities and ability to promote inclusive learning.
