Job Description

We are seeking an Education / Teaching Assistant to join our energetic staff at a vibrant and dynamic school based in the heart of Milan, Italy. The selected candidate will be integral in creating a nurturing and interactive learning environment for our students.As an Education / Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Providing support to teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
• Coordinating with other personnel to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
• Assisting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers
• Supervising students inside and outside classrooms, which includes meal and recreation times
• Facilitating extracurricular activities, sports, and events as required
• Participating in parent-teacher meetings and staff development programs
• Managing and maintaining teaching resources and materials

Job Requirements

The ideal applicant will have:

• A degree in education or related field
• Prior work experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian
• Familiarity with classroom procedures and teaching methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• A valid first aid and CPR certification
