Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring a positive learning environment for learners of varying proficiency levels. Key duties include:

- Assisting in lesson planning and preparing instructional materials
- Providing support during classes, facilitating group activities and discussions
- Evaluating student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Participating in staff meetings, teacher training sessions and workshops
- Contributing to curriculum development and implementing innovative teaching methods

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- A bachelor’s degree in Education, English or a related field
- TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification is desirable
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a multilingual setting
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or any other second language would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Highly creative, energetic, and able to engage with learners of diverse backgrounds
