Job Vacancy: Kitchen / Cook Intern

Our company is excited to announce an opening for the position of Kitchen / Cook Intern in our Genoa headquarters. Responsibilities & Tasks

• Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen including food preparation and cleanliness duties.
• Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to learn about menu planning, food costing and culinary techniques
• Participate in inventory control, suppliers' negotiation and wastage reduction strategies
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Participate in culinary workshops and teamwork activities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Culinary Arts or related discipline
• Exceptional understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• The eagerness and passion for developing new skills and learning in a professional kitchen environment
