Education Internship in a cultural exchange organization in Budapest, Hungary

Job Description

Our collaborator is an organization based in Budapest that specializes in cultural and educational exchange programs for high school students across Europe. They are seeking enthusiastic Educational Tutors (also known as EU Project Assistants) to support visiting students during their short-term stay of 2–3 weeks in Hungary. The role combines tutoring, mentorship, and organizing group activities to ensure students have a safe, enriching, and memorable learning experience.

Tasks

• Escort students during their stay, ensuring their safety and well-being

• Provide cultural orientation and practical information about Budapest

• Assist students in integrating into their new environment and navigating daily life in the city

• Organize and lead group games to foster teamwork and camaraderie

• Plan and oversee group activities that promote learning, cooperation, and fun

 

• Encourage social interaction to help students build relationships and improve interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Italian

• Some experience in mentoring, tutoring, or animation with young people

• Ability to organize and lead group activities

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Fluent Italian, B2 English (additional EU languages are a plus)

• Passion for education and making a positive impact on young generations

• Ability to work on projects and coordinate them reliably

Availability and hours
Full-time internship. Duration: 2–3 weeks per student group, with possibility to extend depending on projects.
