Internship Position: Furniture Maker

The Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and skillful intern to join our team. The selected candidate will learn and contribute to the entire furniture production process starting from conceptualization, drawing technical layouts, constructing using various tools to quality checking, packaging and storage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating design sketches and drafts
• Handle woodworking tools for furniture construction
• Assist in finishing processes such as sanding, staining, and sealing
• Closely work with the team for product QA and QC
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace
• Provide support in inventory management

Requirements

• Candidate must be enrolled in a degree in Furniture Design, Woodworking, Industrial Design, or a related course
• Basic knowledge in technical drawing and CAD software
• Ability to operate woodworking machinery and hand tools
• Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team
