Job Description
As a Film Studies Intern, you will be exposed to various facets of film production, from preproduction planning to post-production editing. Duties will include script analysis and development, assisting in coordinating shoots, working on film edits, and participating in promotional strategy discussions. You will also assist in research for upcoming projects, and support the team during on-location and studio filming.
Personal and Job Requirements
The selected candidate must be currently pursuing a degree in Film Studies, Media, Communications, or a related field and should display a robust understanding of film production processes. Must manifest outstanding communication skills, be highly organized, and possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency in English is necessary, knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Excellent IT skills with experience in Microsoft suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and film-related software packages would be advantageous. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, is expected.
