Paid Tourism Internship in an Art and Mosaic Workshop in Barcelona, Spain

Job Description

Our collaborator is a creative workshop based in Barcelona, specialized in mosaic art and offering artistic experiences for visitors, groups, and companies. They organize mosaic classes and workshops, as well as creative activities and corporate events, providing participants with a hands-on introduction to this traditional artistic technique.

Tasks

• Assist with the preparation and organization of mosaic classes and workshops.
• Support participants during mosaic-making activities and provide guidance when needed.
• Help deliver classes and creative activities for visitors.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of corporate events.
• Welcome and assist participants during workshops and events.
• Support the team with the preparation of materials and workspaces.
• Apply mortar to mosaic pieces and assist with other practical tasks related to the creation process.
• Help ensure that the workshop is properly prepared before and after each activity.

Requirements

• Eligible for an Erasmus+ scholarship/grant.
• Background or studies related to Tourism or a similar field.
• Strong interest in art, crafts, and creative activities.
• Comfortable interacting with visitors and groups.
• Proactive, friendly, and willing to participate in both customer-facing and practical tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum availability of 3 months.
• Available to start at the end of September or beginning of October.
