Architecture & Interior Design Internship in a Contemporary Architecture and Design Studio in Lisbon, Portugal

Job Description

Our collaborator is a contemporary interior architecture and design studio based in Portugal, specialising in residential architecture, interior design, bespoke furniture, and textiles.

The studio combines a modern design approach with traditional Portuguese craftsmanship, working closely with local artisans and prioritising locally sourced materials. Its multidisciplinary team develops unique, detail-oriented projects that bring together creativity, functionality, and craftsmanship.

They are currently looking for a motivated Architecture or Interior Architecture Intern to join their team for a 6-month curricular internship, gaining hands-on experience in both studio-based and on-site projects.

Tasks

• Support the team in residential architecture and interior design projects.

• Assist in concept creation and design development.

• Prepare technical and architectural drawings.

• Contribute to 3D modelling and visualisation.

• Research materials, finishes, furniture, and design solutions.

• Participate in site visits and project follow-up activities.

• Assist in the design and development of bespoke furniture and interior elements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team throughout different project stages.

Requirements

• Currently studying Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

• Eligible for a curricular internship or Erasmus+ traineeship agreement through their university.

• Study level between EQF 5 and 7.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly valued.

• Good command of English, as it is the working language.

• Knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.

• Enthusiastic, creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
