Position: Reception/Reservations Intern

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist in managing front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-ins and check-outs.
• Handle guest reservations and enquiries, providing accurate information regarding services and amenities.
• Support the team in maintaining the reception area, ensuring it remains welcoming and organized.
• Utilize our property management system to log and track reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest requests and facilitate special requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Handle guest feedback, escalating issues where necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality or Tourism program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English; knowledge of Portuguese and other languages is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude, adaptable to fast-paced environments and able to work collaboratively.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
