Position: Communication/Journalism Intern

We invite applications for the post of a Communication/Journalism intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is an enriching opportunity to learn about and experience the vibrant world of news media alongside seasoned professionals. The candidate will be working from our Salamanca office.

Job Role and Responsibilities

• Assist with research for news stories and features
• Conduct interviews and transcribe recordings
• Collaborate with teams to develop storylines and write news pieces under the guidance of senior staff
• Engage in multimedia production, digital communications, and social media management
• Attend press conferences, events, and other news-related activities

Job Requirements

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree in Communication, Journalism, or related field
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Understanding of media law and journalistic ethics
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and effective use of social media platforms
• Proficiency in English and Spanish
• Previous internship or work experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory
