Job Description

The HR Intern will directly support the Human Resources Department, gaining exposure to various facets of HR including but not limited to: workforce planning and employment, Human Resource Development (HRD), compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, Occupational Health, Safety and Security (OHSS). Key areas of focus will be assisting with onboarding processes, creating and updating employee records, supporting HR administrative tasks, collaborating on special HR projects, and actively participating in staff meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing or has recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent is required. The applicant should possess strong interpersonal skills, an ability to maintain confidentiality, and must be detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential. Familiarity with human resources management systems (HRMS) would be a definite advantage. Priority will be given to candidates demonstrating a genuine passion for HR and a keen interest in learning.
