Tasks and Responsibilities

The intern will be entrusted with a range of tasks aimed to develop a deep understanding of the media landscape and a thorough grounding in journalism best practices.

- To assist in developing, writing, editing, and proof-reading content for various mediums (print, digital, social media, etc.).
- To conduct press releases, briefings, media inquiries, as well as drafting and disseminating internal communications.
- To manage the organisation's social media platforms to facilitate effective audience engagement.
- To conduct in-depth research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
- To support event planning and coordination.
- To assist with administrative tasks in the marketing and communications department.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field. Proficiency in English and Spanish is a must. Prior experience in media industry will be an added advantage. The candidate should also have excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
