Job Description
The Education / Teaching Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to support student learning and engagement. Your tasks will include:
- Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom activities.
- Supporting individual and group instruction, helping students to complete their assignments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers regarding academic and behavioral issues.
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Organizing and supervising recreational activities during breaks.
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff to build strong relationships.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of a relevant diploma or degree in education or a related field.
- Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
