English Teaching Assistant Vacancy in Genoa, Italy

Our language school, located in the heart of Genoa, is dedicated to teaching a wide variety of languages to students of all ages and levels. Our teaching staff comes from all over the world, and they bring a diverse set of skills and backgrounds to our classroom. We offer a performance-based, fun and engaging learning environment that fosters the growth and development of all our students. We are now seeking an English Teaching Assistant to add to our talented team.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Head English Teacher in delivering high-quality instruction in our English courses. Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in class preparation such as creating instructional materials and lesson plans.
  • Helping students to develop their English language skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
  • Conducting assessments to monitor student progress and providing feedback.
  • Supporting students on a one-to-one basis when required.
  • Assisting with the organization of school events and cultural activities.

Job Requirements

The following qualities and experiences are highly desirable for the position:

  • A degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an English teaching assistant or tutor will be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to rally in a multicultural environment.
  • Native speaker of English or a C2 level language certificate.
