An established language school in the vibrant heart of Valencia, Spain, is inviting applications for the position of an English Teaching Assistant. Our school offers a thorough curriculum focusing on 10 globally spoken languages, with English being a primary focus. Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will support our dynamic teaching team in curriculum development, student learning assessments, classroom management and providing one-on-one instruction when necessary. Main duties include:

• Assisting lead English teachers in implementing and refining curriculum plans
• Grading assignments and providing constructive feedback to students
• Supporting students with learning difficulties or those who need additional help
• Assisting in maintaining a positive, interactive and engaging classroom environment
• Participating in school events, workshops, and faculty meetings

Job Requirement

The successful candidate should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education or a related field
• TESOL/TESL/TEFL certification
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience (preferably as a teaching assistant)
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Working knowledge of Spanish or willingness to learn it
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A passion for education and patience for working with students of diverse skill levels
