Job Description & Key Responsibilities

As an Education / Teaching Assistant you will:

- Work directly with the lead teacher to implement the curriculum by developing and preparing teaching aids and supplementary materials.
- Assist with classroom management, including maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, encouraging student participation, and tracking student progress.
- Support students with additional learning needs, adapting resources and learning techniques as necessary.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of school events, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Monitor student behaviour, promoting positive conduct and assisting in conflict resolution as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants must possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role, working as a teaching assistant or in a classroom-based environment is an asset.
- Native or near-native Spanish language skills, proficiency in English.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.
