Education / Teaching Assistant Position in Porto, Portugal

We are a reputably esteemed educational institution in Porto, Portugal, providing comprehensive programs across different grade levels. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Education / Teaching Assistant.

Job Duties:

• Assist lead teachers in creating lesson plans and curate classroom materials.
• Provide support and reinforcement for students in individual or group settings.
• Maintain a productive learning environment by ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom.
• Prepare materials for classroom activities and assignments.
• Monitor students during breaks, recreational activities, and field trips.
• Help in grading assignments and record academic performance, attendance, and behavior of students.
• Communicate students’ progress to parents or guardians under the teacher's supervision.
• Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or relevant field.
• Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with situations professionally.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
