German - Business Development in Berlin, Madrid or Remote - 400€

Our partner is the online community that enables dog owners to find and book local, trusted dog 

walkers and sitters across 6 European countries; the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, and 

Austria. 

The pet services market is out-dated and more than 75% of dog owners are actively seeking 

alternatives. Our partner's mission is to bring the pet services market into the 21st century through 

the most trusted pet services platform for Europe’s 300 million household pets. 

They are looking for a Business Development Intern to help grow and manage the community and

build a product that their users love. This position will be based in either in their Berlin or Madrid

office or remotely, with the potential for the position to become permanent after a 3 

month review. 

Responsibilities 

●Review dog sitter applications for approval into the Community & provide friendly 

and timely user support. 

●Manage dog owner and sitter marketing and social campaigns. 

●Closely monitor customer acquisition metrics to prioritize initiatives leading to the 

greatest growth. 

●Create articles for their internal and external knowledge base and help centre. 

●Build partnerships that will increase value for the community. 

●Participate in weekly business reviews and have ownership over driving toward the​

performance metrics of the business.   

Requirements 

●Position is full time 5 days a week 

●Must be fluent in German and English. 

●Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements. 

●Excellent organization skills. 

●Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven. 

●Experience with ad platforms (Google, Facebook) and SQL is a bonus.
