Job Description:

As a Translator Intern, your key functions would include the translation of multiple documents to and from Finnish, English, and other languages as required. You'll be proofreading translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy, using appropriate document formatting, and conducting web-based research to grasp accurate business terminology.

Tasks:

• Translate verbal discussions, written documents, and media from Finnish to English and vice versa.
• Proofreading and reviewing translated documents for precision and grammatical correctness.

• Conduct research for technical and business vocabulary usage.

Requirements:

• Must be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
• Excellent command of both Finnish and English languages (written and verbal).
• Proven understanding of cultural contexts in communication.
• Strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
