We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our team, focusing primarily on translating various contents into French and managing our social media presence. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop translation and copywriting skills while gaining hands-on experience in social media management.

Tasks

• Translate various texts, including web content, articles, and marketing materials, from English to French.

• Maintain the essence, tone, and style of the original content while ensuring translations are culturally appropriate.

• Assist in creating compelling copy for social media posts, advertisements, and other marketing materials.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies that align with our brand's voice and goals.

• Serve as a storyteller for our employee stories and brand stories.
  
  
• Engage with our French-speaking audience, responding to comments and messages.
  
  
• Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Translation, Languages, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  
  
• English fluent
  
  
• French at a native standard

• Minimum of 3 months
  
  
• Strong interest in translation, copywriting, and social media

• Experience with Canva or a similar graphic design tool. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) and basic graphic design knowledge will be a plus.
  
  
• Stellar listening and writing/verbal skills with a sharp eye for detail are required; strong proofreading and editing skills are a plus.
  
  
• Ability to distil complex ideas into language appropriate for varied audiences.
  
  
• Able to work collaboratively and independently with ease.
  
  
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
  
  
• Digital communications aptitude; some experience working with web or social media content management systems a plus;

30-35h/week, from Monday-Friday.
