Our collaborator is a Barcelona-based tech company specializing in IoT solutions for industrial environments. Their innovations focus on enhancing safety and efficiency through wearable devices, AI, and real-time monitoring systems. They are currently developing the next generation of their wearable products and are seeking a 3D Design and Engineering Intern to assist in the process.

Tareas

The 3D Design and Engineering Intern will be involved in designing, testing, and optimizing 3D-printed wearable device casings. The intern will work closely with the engineering team on improving functionality, comfort, and durability of the devices through creative product development and iteration.

 

• Design and improve 3D-printed casings for wearable tech devices.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize the next version of the product.
• Perform 3D modeling, prototyping, and testing.
• Assist in the mechanical and ergonomic adaptation of casing components.
• Support the technical team in product development processes.

Requisitos

• Studying or recently graduated in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Good command of English and at least a basic level of Spanish.
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and user-centered design thinking.
• Full-time availability on-site at the company’s office in the Consorci de la Zona Franca (Barcelona), with a metro station just 5 minutes away on foot.
