Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering engaging English language lessons.
• Support students in individual and group activities to enhance their language skills.
• Facilitate conversation practice sessions to improve speaking and listening abilities.
• Provide feedback and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Conduct assessment tasks and monitor student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
• Help organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to language learning.

Personal and Job Requirements

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese or another language is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a foreign language is preferred.
• Enthusiasm for language education and a passion for working with students.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
