Internship Opportunity in Interior Design

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating design concepts and mood boards, collaborating with senior designers to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Conduct research on materials, furniture, and architectural trends to enhance project development.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, taking notes and providing support in showcasing design proposals.
  • Help with the preparation of technical drawings and specifications for projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain project timelines and assist in managing project budgets under the guidance of project managers.
  • Support the team in site visits and inspections, providing assistance in ensuring design compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.

Personal Requirements

  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and passion for interior design.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
