Job Description:

As a Kitchen/Cook Intern, you will have hands-on exposure to a wide spectrum of responsibilities. Here are some of the tasks you will undertake:

• Prepare meals in accordance with designed recipes or specific customer requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary procedures for the kitchen area
• Manage food stock and place orders as necessary
• Offer creative ideas for menu planning and food presentation
• Inspect dishes for quality and presentation before serving
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other culinary professionals

Personal and Job Requirements:

For this position, the individual we seek should possess the following qualifications:

• Professional culinary training will be an asset, but not mandatory
• Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
• Able to withstand kitchen environments for extended time intervals
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Food hygiene knowledge and practice
• Portuguese language skills are preferable, but not essential
