Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will support the lead teacher in delivering lessons planned around the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the teacher in planning and implementing lessons
  • Grading homework and providing feedback
  • Creating interactive activities to facilitate language learning
  • Aiding in the preparation and administration of oral and written tests
  • Helping students to improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
  • Maintaining student progress records

Job Requirements

As an ideal candidate, you should fulfill the following requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in languages, literature, linguistics, or teaching
  • A TEFL, TESOL, or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least one year of teaching experience
  • Proficiency in English – at the equivalent of a native speaker
  • Proficiency in Italian or willingness to learn
