Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that educational activities cater to diverse learner needs.
• Support students on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings, offering personalized assistance to enhance understanding and retention of materials.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment by implementing behavioral strategies and promoting students’ social-emotional development.
• Facilitate classroom management and organization, including preparing educational materials and resources.
• Assist in the assessment of students’ progress and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) when required.
• Engage in ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance teaching skills and educational practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive learning experience.

Job Requirements

• A passion for education and a desire to support student learning.
• Degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage diverse classroom situations.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is desirable but not mandatory.
