Internship Responsibilities

  • Assist in meal preparation under the supervision of experienced chefs, learning various cooking techniques.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including food storage, organization, and sanitation practices.
  • Support in plating and presenting dishes according to the established presentation standards.
  • Help maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards to ensure a hygienic cooking environment.
  • Participate in inventory management, assisting with stock rotations and ingredient orders as needed.
  • Learn and implement recipes while gaining knowledge of menu development and seasonal culinary trends.
  • Engage in team collaboration, contributing ideas and feedback during kitchen meetings.

Job and Personal Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a culinary school or related program, or possess relevant cooking experience.
  • A genuine passion for cooking and eagerness to learn about Italian cuisine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude within a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
