Our language school, located in the thriving and picturesque city of Parma, Italy, is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teaching Assistant. Set within an international environment, we offer a wide range of language courses to students of all ages from different cultural backgrounds. Our aim is to facilitate effective language learning through interactive, creative, and fun teaching methods.

Job Description

The Spanish Teaching Assistant will be responsible for actively participating in the planning and implementation of Spanish classes, designed for various language levels. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and delivering interactive Spanish lessons
• Supporting main language instructors as needed
• Assisting in the evaluation of student progress
• Encouraging active participation and interaction among students
• Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment

Requirements

Criteria for successful job applicants include:

• Native or near-native Spanish speaker
• Fluency in English and/or Italian
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Education, Spanish, or a related field
• A minimum of one year teaching experience in a similar position
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for language teaching and cultural exchange

Desirable but not essential attributes:

• Certification on teaching Spanish as a foreign language
• Experience teaching in a multi-cultural setting
