Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Padua, Italy. This role provides vital support in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for students.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
• Facilitate small group and one-on-one instruction to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Prepare educational materials and resources, including classroom displays, learning aids, and technology integration.
• Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other school activities, promoting positive behavior and interactions.
• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead teachers regarding student development and behavior.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to the collaborative working environment of the school.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and organizing classroom resources.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student development.
• Fluency in Italian and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
