Job Title: Education / Teaching Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Support students with special needs by providing appropriate accommodations and encouragement.
• Supervise students during class activities, recess, and lunch, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
• Help manage classroom behavior, fostering a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional support.
• Participate in and contribute to the planning of educational activities and events.
• Assist with grading assignments and providing feedback to students and teachers.
• Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress and needs.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching strategies and techniques.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
• Experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
