English Teaching Assistant Position in Naples, Italy

Job Description

We are recruiting for an English Teaching Assistant position at a well-regarded language institution nestled in the heart of Naples, Italy. Your main responsibility will be to assist our lead English teachers in creating an immersive English-speaking environment for our students. Tasks include lesson planning, conducting language-related activities, providing feedback on student performance, participating in staff meetings, correcting homework, and occasionally leading classes. Ideally, you will also contribute to program development and help foster a love for language learning through creative engagement.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates must have a bachelors degree in English, Linguistics or a related field; a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA qualification; and at least one year of teaching experience. Applicants should be native English speakers. Knowledge of Italian is an asset, although not strictly necessary.

Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a multicultural environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. Patience, flexibility, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required.
