We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Events Intern to join our team in Milan. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) industry. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced event professionals and support the planning and execution of corporate events, incentive programs, and group experiences for international clients.

Tareas

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate events and incentive programs.
  • Support the sourcing and coordination of venues, hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers.
  • Prepare event proposals, presentations, schedules, and operational documents.
  • Assist with logistical arrangements, including accommodation, transfers, and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems and databases.
  • Support budget monitoring and general administrative tasks.
  • Participate in site inspections and provide on-site event support when required.
  • Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Conduct research on destinations, venues, and suppliers to support project development.
  • Provide timely and professional communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Requisitos

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in events, hospitality, and customer service.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English is essential; Italian and additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Condiciones

  • Location: Milan, Italy.
  • Type of Contract: Internship (full-time).
  • Duration: 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension and future employment opportunities based on performance.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends during events when required.
  • Training: Continuous mentoring and hands-on experience within an international events environment.
  • Travel: Occasional travel within Italy may be required to support events and site inspections.
  • Start Date: To be agreed with the successful candidate.
