Our language school is looking for a Spanish Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff in creating an interactive and engaging learning environment for our students. Your role will include assisting with lesson preparation, handling classroom materials, aiding students in their learning process as well as in-group exercises, tracking students' progress and providing feedback, and assisting in creating cultural activities related to Spanish culture and language.
The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field, with proficiency in both Spanish and Italian. Previous experience of teaching or tutoring Spanish at any level is desirable. The candidate must have exceptional communication skills, a patient demeanor, and enthusiasm for teaching.
We expect the candidate to be a resourceful, adaptable, and committed individual. You should be able to exhibit a confident approach in handling classroom challenges. A sensitivity and understanding of different cultures and diversity is crucial in this role. Being a team player, with a positive and engaging personality is a must. You'll also need to demonstrate a genuine passion for Spanish language and culture, and an eagerness to share these with students.
