Job Description

The Teaching Assistant will support our lead teachers in planning and implementing an educational curriculum. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting in preparing lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Helping in the delivery of interactive and engaging classroom lessons.
• Providing support to pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Helping in the monitoring of pupils’ progress, maintaining records and providing feedback to teachers.
• Helping maintain classroom discipline by implementing school policies.
• Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils and encouraging their independence.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in education or a relevant field. Prior teaching experience, particularly in an assistant role, is highly desirable.
• Fluency in Italian and English, with strong communication skills.
• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well both in a team and independently.
• Patience and resilience with a positive attitude.
